    I am very excited to share below photos of ERDV before their release to Nuclear Power Plant.
    They look like a normal motor operated valve. however, please do not judge by its look, they are for a special purpose valve that provides a manual safety grade means of rapidly depressurizing the Reactor Coolant System during the severe accidents.

    ERDV is a valve designed, manufactured, and tested to ensure the integrity and operability of equipment even in a nuclear accident environment. Functional Qualification was performed in accordance with ASME QME-1 because it should be operated in a serious accident environment.

    In addition, for the actuator, equipment qualification according to IEEE 382 was performed, Separately, tests were conducted to confirm operability and survivability under severe accident environmental conditions.

    We are fully set to adopt another carbon-free energy source of Nuclear Power, plus Hydrogen.
